Simmons Shines, But Discipline Lags | Missouri Tigers Football News

Mizzou dominated Arkansas Pine-Bluff 54-14 in a statement-opening win, with freshman QB Austin Simmons delivering a dazzling debut—throwing for over 250 yards and four touchdowns. Transfer stars like safety Elijah Dotson, receiver Cayden Lee, and defensive back Sione Laulea made big plays, while Xai’Shaun Edwards added explosive runs. But Coach Drinkwitz wasn’t pleased with second-half lapses and lackluster energy, warning the team to clean up mistakes. With injured RB Ahmad Hardy sidelined, backup Jamal Roberts stepped in—but the offense needs him back soon. Next up? A brutal road test against rival Kansas—no room for sloppiness if Mizzou wants to stay undefeated. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
