Simon Deakin and Graham Gudgin discuss their predictions for the UK economy in 2017

Simon Deakin the Director of the Centre for Business Research (CBR) and Professor of Law at the University of Cambridge and Graham Gudgin an associate of the CBR discuss their new economic modelling and predictions for the UK economy in 2017. They also say there is a need for new independent research on the consequences of Brexit and leaving the EU on UK institutions and the economy. Deakin wants the UK to avoid the traps of becoming a low wage low productivity economy and to ensure workers' rights are protected.
