Simon Peter the Rock

In this series of podcasts, the Accord Team, Rebecca, Naomi and Clare, examine the lives of Biblical personalities and their significance to us. In this podcast, Rebecca and Naomi explore the life of Simon Peter the Rock, who was a disciple with Jesus. We discover that Simon Peter was flawed and that his name change from Simon to Peter was highly significant! This was part of the love language that Jesus used with Simon Peter and contributed to his transformation. Simon Peter denied Jesus three times and nearly beheaded the servant of the High Priest in Gethsemane, but Jesus appeared to Simon Peter after his resurrection and from then on he was only known as Peter!
