A quick scroll through his Instagram page will show you a life full of art, love, and peaceful beach days with his sons; a life Simon worked hard to achieve after dealing with years of substance abuse. His transparency about his addiction continues to inspire those around him, reminding us all to take life one day at a time. For Simon, slowing down and focusing on the steps along the way brings a sense of peace on a daily basis. He mentions how prioritizing mindfulness and being in the moment can foster mental clarity and creativity. Tapping into spirituality and finding routine in prayer and meditation brought back inspiration to his songwriting.
