The conclusion of our 3-part series on the message of Simon to Peter.Before Peter’s glorious moment, there were moments of backsliding for Peter.We all know how Peter boldly declared his loyalty to Jesus, even declaring that he would never deny Him. But we also know how he faltered and denied our Lord three times when Jesus needed him the most. It was a moment of great shame and guilt for Peter, and he must have felt like all hope was lost.But here's the beautiful part of this story - even in the midst of his downfall, Jesus never gave up on Peter. He knew that Peter's heart was in the right place, and his desire to follow Him was genuine.
