This week's guest is Simran Jatar, a childhood Ewing Sarcoma survivor and current med student studying to become a pediatric oncologist! Simran was diagnosed with a super rare form of sarcoma in her right heel bone at just 8 years old. After 14 rounds of chemo, 21 blood transfusions and radiation she has been in remission for 14 years. Simran opens up about how having cancer at such a young age made her grow up very quickly in the process and how it was difficult to relate to other kids going back to school. She is now hugely involved in the cancer community and is such an inspiration! She hosts an annual toy drive at Texas Childrens' Hospital, is a counselor at Camp Periwinkle and is in her first year of med school to become a pediatric oncologist.  Follow us on instagram for latest news and guests @cancractuallysuckspodcast

Natural Tendencies Behavioral Essentials After thirty years as a psychotherapist, entrepreneur and business consultant, Rick Breden, CEO of Behavioral Essentials, realized that many of the issues that impact work performance aren't related to work at all- Depression, anxiety, taking care of aging parents, chemical dependency, breast cancer, raising children, conflict- actually, everything that happens outside of work can have a huge impact on how you feel and perform at work. Our simple mission is to "help a lot of people." On Natural Tendencies we tackle the tough stuff with real people, and provide them with a place to process, learn and grow. We also provide practices and support materials that can help you overcome, or at least better manage, whatever is holding you back. Join Rick as he guides people through issues we all face, and hopefully learn something that brings more joy and productivity into your home and work life. Explicit BRUTAL BEAUTY Beautifully Brutal I'm here to speak with great effort, sharing my opinions and what I think should be priority. Often times we cancel truth because it's too hard to hear but the truth needs to be heard, what you think is too much to hear was something someone actually went through physically. Open your mind or get inside mine Explicit On The Chopping Block Kerry Coddett Are cancel culture, muting, and de-friending trends getting out of control? And if so, who's going to call it out and actually get people with opposing viewpoints to talk to each other again? Comedian Kerry Coddett (Comedy Central, HBO, BET) will! In a world where people are "canceled", "muted" or "unfriended" because of diverging views, Kerry creates a space where her hilarious friends---a combo of comics, celebrities, topic experts and everyday people--- can explore both sides of a position, and through a series of fun exercises, seek to uncover if there's at least one commonality that they can all agree on.
