Sin, Repentance and Restoration
from Chico Community Church Hosted by Tim Hearon
In one of the most raw and powerful parts of David’s story, we explore the devastating reality of sin and the beautiful road to restoration. In this message, Pastor Tim Hearon walks us through 2 Samuel 11–12, Psalm 51, and Psalm 32, showing how David, a man after God’s own heart, gave in to temptation, tried to hide his sin, and ultimately came clean before God. We’ll talk about how sin progressively pulls you in, blinds you to its consequences, then we’ll shift to why true repentance is essential to restoration. David’s story doesn’t end in failure. It reveals how God’s grace meets us in our brokenness and how we can experience that same grace today.
