Fifty-one-year-old William Sinclair was arrested on dozens of charges—including second-degree murder—after a dramatic two-day manhunt on Kauai that ended with his capture in the ocean. The incident began in early June when Sinclair allegedly shot and killed his 37-year-old housemate, Sergio Reyes Hernandez, at a Hanalei restaurant, and also fired at another person who was only grazed. A grand jury has now indicted him, marking the official start of legal proceedings in a case that has gripped the island community.
