from THIS THAT & THE OTHER RADIO SHOW WITH TROY PATRICK FARRELL · host THIS THAT & THE OTHER RADIO SHOW WITH TROY PATRICK FARRELL

If you haven't heard the latest from Santa Cruz, or have ever heard of them at all, they made news when they had a live performance at the Whisky A Go-Go that was marred by drummer issues playing along to a backing track.  Most fans of live music questioned the integrity of bands in general and the use of tracks and some felt that the singer was "miming".  Archie has since clarified on his Instagram and in his first interview on This That and the Other (04/13/2022 Airdate). The band took some hits from many of the online rock publications such as Blabbermouth, Metal Sludge and SiriusXM Radio Host Eddie Trunk.Archie Cruz took shots at fans and critics alike and has since had a change of heart.  It sounds like there might be a change in the lineup of Santa Cruz as well.  Time Will Tell.
