Reflecting on her four years here, she raises one or two interesting questions for our Buddhist movement. About Singhashri Singhashri has been practising Buddhism and meditation since 1999 and was ordained in the Triratna Buddhist Order in 2010. Before arriving in Manchester in 2012, she was involved with the San Francisco Buddhist Centre. As well as teaching Buddhism and meditation locally and at retreat centres across the UK, she has worked for several years for Breathworks, a non-profit organisation offering mindfulness-based strategies for living well with stress, pain and illness.
