Single & Waiting WELL in my 30s (Part Two) - feat. Dr. Nadia Desir

Psalm 27:14 (NKJV) says: "Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!" Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NKJV) says: "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end." If you are a single woman or man who has been waiting on God for a spouse for what feels like an eternity, you probably have moments of feeling impatient and frustrated with His timing. I (Danielle Perry), can speak from experience and say that waiting on God was very difficult for me at times during my single years. However, looking back, I can say that my husband was WORTH THE WAIT, and I am truly grateful for all that God taught me while I waited on His perfect timing! Now, I waited while in my 20s, however, there are some of you who are in your 30s, 40s, 50s, and even older who have been waiting much longer than I had to wait. If you have been called to marriage, may I encourage you to keep TRUSTING God, no matter how long the wait is?? Our American society demands that marriage, having children, and many other things happen quick, fast, and in a hurry, but if God wants you to wait, it means that HIS TIME is the BEST TIME for what you desire to happen!   In this episode, I speak with Dr. Nadia Desir who shares a bit of her journey as a single woman in her 30s, and the lessons she's learned about not only waiting, but, waiting WELL!
