It allows us to take the time to get to know each other on many intimate levels without demeaning one another. It opens the lines of communication and forces us to talk to each other and dispense with name-calling and character assassination. Romance is a derivative of love (Eros) and in many ways we've confused love for other things that complicate relationships. We've allowed our focus to be distracted causing romance to take a back seat. The Black Man's Guide to Romancing the Black Woman is a common sense approach to dealing with such issues and hopefully making romance a priority in our relationships again.
