Single Serving Slashers Appreciation Month - ”House On Sorority Row”

from Cinema Degeneration · host Cinema Degeneration

October is upon us and we here at Cinema Degeneration thought it was time for another Appreciation Month topic!  We bring to you a celebration of 'Single Serving Slashers', slasher movies that never got a sequel.  There are plenty of chapters in the sagas of Chucky, Jason, and Freddy; however, we wanted to honor those often overlooked slashers that only graced the screen in one thrilling film.  For the 7th chapter on these colorful killers we drop another flick from the 80's with "HOUSE ON SORORITY ROW" from 1982.  Written and directed by Mark Rosman this movie came out during the heyday of slasherdom. This tale is filled with all the tropes...pranks gone wrong, double crosses, evil doctors, sorority sisters being stalked and killed one by one, red herrings galore, and the party to end all parties!  Join our hosts Cameron Scott and the rest of the crew at the 'Last Call At Torchy's Podcast' Gary Hill and Lee Russell, as they take a deep dive into this underappreciated gem in the rough that goes to show that when the nightmare ends the terror begins.   "You're the last one of your friends alive. You're the bait."
