Sinister Secrets of the Bayou Strangler-Part 1-Episode 20

from Criminalist Behavior-A Louisiana True Crime Podcast

Ronald Joseph Dominique, also known as The Bayou Strangler, he was an American serial killer and rapist who murdered at least 23 men and boys in the state of Louisiana between 1997 and 2006. Dominique's victims tended to be teenagers and men aged between 16 and 46, but not all of them were homosexual. Most of the victims were African-American. He often met them during walks or drives in his pickup truck, as well as in gay bars, luring them with offers of alcohol, drugs, housing, or group sex with his supposed girlfriend. After successfully convincing potential victims, Dominique would lure them to his trailer where he would overpower them, bind them, and subsequently rape them. According to the investigators, Dominique then strangled them, loaded their bodies into the back of his truck, and dumped them in remote rural areas in one of six nearby parishes.Victim 1: David Mitchell age: 19 Found: July 1997 in St. Charles ParishVictim 2: Gary Pierre age: 20 Found: December 1997 in St. Charles ParishVictim 3: Larry Ranson age: 38 Found: July 31, 1998 in St. Charles ParishVictim 4: Oliver LeBanks age: 27 Found: October 1998 in Metairie, Jefferson ParishVictim 5: Joseph Brown age: 16 Found: October 1998 in Kenner, Jefferson ParishVictim 6: Bruce Williams age: 18 Found: November 1998 in Jefferson ParishVictim 7: Manuel Reed age: 21 Found: May 1999 in Kenner, Jefferson ParishVictim 8: Angel Mejia age: 34 Found: June 1999 in Kenner, Jefferson ParishVictim 9: Mitchell Johnson age: 34 Found: August 1999 in Metairie, Jefferson ParishVictim 10: Michael Vincent age: 23 Found: January 2000 in Lafourche ParishVictim 11: Kenneth Randolph, Jr. age: 20 Found: October 2002 in Lafourche ParishVictim 12: Anoka Jones age: 26 Found: October 12, 2002 in Houma, Terrebonne ParishCopyright © 2024-Present Criminalist Behavior Podcast.
