This week in 1800 Mr & Mrs Chadwick were celebrating the birth of a bouncing baby boy. 214 years later Pete & Stanley are celebrating because without Sir Edwin Chadwick Pete wouldn't have had a career and Stanley would have spent his days languishing in the back of an old toy cupboard.
