Hon Sir Jeffrey Donaldson MP is the leader of the DUP and has been MP for the Lagan Valley constituency since 1997. Sir Jeffrey became the Leader of the DUP on Thursday, 30 June 2021. He previously served as an MLA, also for Lagan Valley, from 2003-2010. During that time, he was appointed as Chairman of the Assembly & Executive Review Committee and subsequently as a Junior Minister in the Office of First Minister and Deputy First Minister.
