Sirocco

"Sirocco, scirocco, ghibli, jugo or, rarely, siroc is a Mediterranean wind that comes from the Sahara and can reach hurricane speeds in North Africa and Southern Europe, especially during the summer season. Siroccos arise from warm, dry, tropical air masses that are pulled northward by low-pressure cells moving eastward across the Mediterranean Sea, with the wind originating in the Arabian or Sahara deserts. The hotter, drier continental air mixes with the cooler, wetter air of the maritime cyclone, and the counter-clockwise circulation of the low propels the mixed air across the southern coasts of Europe." Like the air masses and the wind, humans and cultures have mixed well across the mediterranean regions all over history, and this will continue happening in spite of the killer border policies. ♥♥♥ All credit to the amazing artists that created these wonderful artpieces ♥♥♥ Sonitus eco - Field recordings - Boat ropes Arleta - Mia Fora Thymamai (Phil Weé Edit) Lebanese Underground - Askiniha (Asmahan remixed) Hajna - Caravan (ft.
