As a Cook County Commissioner, she set and administered an eight-hundred-million-dollar budget and protected the drinking water for five million people in Chicago and 114 surrounding communities. Also, a former business owner, Sista' Joy has served as a keynote speaker, facilitated workshops, taught college students, written for a Fortune 500 Company, produced and hosted cable television show.   A humble, down-to-earth, countrywoman, Sista' Joy brings her written and spoken messages to life in a dramatic, humorous and personal, heart-felt way.
