She actively is a 2nd grade teacher, a proud mama of "more-than-one" Dachshund, the author of "Curly the Dachshund", a board member for Women Speak Out Hawaii and Special Olympics Hawaii. She was recently engaged to be married by surprise at an event organized by her beloved Ben. The moment included 17 doxies and their owners all present to celebrate the love of Ben & Julie.
