SITB 174 feat. MUUS (DJ/Producer)

from Sherm In The Booth · host Sherm In The Booth

Episode 174 features the young Ohio stallion MUUS! MUUS just recently moved to Chi town and I am so glad we got to do this interview in person. We PODCASTED BABY! In 174 we discussed: •Early inspirations and influences: MUUS was born and raised in OH and has always had a natural talent and ear for music. Crazy enough, he didn't get in to electronic music until he went to college at University of Cincinnati but fell in love quickly with the energy it created. He hunkered down during 2020 and graduated with flying colors from YouTube history and released his first track in 2020. 🤩 •MUUS Discography: In the last two years, MUUS has gone from nothing to something and has made his name known in the house music world in a very short period of time. With tracks like "One Two" on Night Service Only, "Focus" on Solotoko, and 2 special collabs with alltalk called "Connection" on Techne and "Dangerous" on Get Twisted, it's no surprise his unique take on production has catapulted him to success. 💥 •Production style: Although young in the game, MUUS has put in his fair share of hours in the studio. We talked about high level perspectives like how he comes up with new ideas and granular examples on how he layers low end frequencies. He stated, "once you learn the rules, then you know how you can break them". GENUIS! 👏🏻 I genuinely enjoyed this interview and MUUS has an amazing energy to him. He's feeling amazing about where he's at right now and we are both so excited to see what the future holds for him. Special talent right here. ⭐ linktr.ee/sherminthebooth
