SITB 175 feat. Jason Beukema (Entrepreneur)

from Sherm In The Booth · host Sherm In The Booth

Episode 175 features the CEO and Founder of Whet Travel Jason Beukema! I always love getting the full story on playmakers from behind the scenes and we had such a great interview - he is making a massive impact on so many levels and have a profound amount of respect for him and his company. 🛳 In 175 we got it all in and talked about: •Finding His Way: Born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI, Jason and his family were always taking trips together and was always encouraged to pursue what he loved most in life. Heavily influenced by his two great uncles, Jason eventually decided to switch majors from medicine to entrepreneurship. He weaved his way through various opportunities until he organized a trip for his friends - he called it "The Groove Cruise" and shortly after started Whet Travel! 🙌🏻 •Building Whet Travel: Jason is without a doubt, one of the most hardworking people I've ever met but his main mission is not to make money - it's to change people's lives. Whet means "To Excite" and every cruise or event they organize ensures that anyone who comes will be fully immersed in one of the most impactful experiences of their life. Since inception, Jason has done 26 full-ship cruises across 15k people each year and Whet has been ranked Inc Magazine's #4 fastest growing travel company in the country on top of countless awards. Like they say, "if you build it, they will come" and people keep coming back!! 🤩 •Giving Back and Being Community Focused: Jason and Whet Travel give back in so many ways and it is just another reason why they've made such a massive impact. Whether it be the Whet Foundation providing programs to deserving children in south FL, Mexico and the Caribbean or helping organize a marriage proposal during a Dash Berlin set on the Groove Cruise, the Whet Travel team always goes the extra mile for those who ask. 👑 This interview was filled with stories of success and failure, long nights and early mornings, but most of all it was filled with optimism and joy. Jason is a truly special guy and I'm inspired by him and his unwavering desire to make people smile. I love that. ❤️ Thanks so much for coming on the show my friend and I look forward to meeting you in person soon! 👏🏻 linktr.ee/sherminthebooth
