Six-Foot-Ten Center Commits to Runnin' Utes

Six-foot-ten center Lukas McCanna, a standout from Evergreen, Colorado, has committed to the Runnin’ Utes, opting to graduate early from Western Reserve Academy to join Utah for the 2026-27 season. After averaging nearly 13 points and 9 rebounds while shooting over 50% as a junior at Evergreen High, McCanna brings physicality, rim protection, and a soft touch to the Utes’ frontcourt. Though likely a developmental player, his size adds crucial depth to a roster now set at 15 players — and his commitment signals Utah’s roster is officially complete for next season.
