John is an integrated healthcare manager for the Pharmaceutical Industry as well as a former international rugby player, having hugely successful careers in both codes – rugby union and rugby league. Playing for the British Lions and Wales in both Rugby Union and Rugby League, as well as Bridgend RFC, Sale Sharks and Widnes, amongst others.As well as his amazing career we talk to John about transitioning between different careers, the use of NSAIDs in sport and the old Horse and Groom pub in Cardiff.
