Six Rotors and an Unexpected Adventure at 13,500 feet

There was a pounding on my front door that shook the house.A fellow National Park Service Ranger from the Paradise Visitor center wanted to know if I could help arrange a rescue of a climbing party hurt and stranded at 13,500 feet on the side of Mount Rainier?I was coordinating a US Army Reserve unit of Chinook helicoptes in the park supporting my back-country youth program.Come on board a CH-47 Chinook as we climb into the sky!
