from Fort Wayne News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Six tornadoes ripped through northeast Indiana this past Thursday, leaving destruction and power outages in their wake. Three EF-1 twisters hit Huntington County, with one carving an eight-mile path across I-69. Another EF-1 near Andrews stayed south of town for nearly six miles, while a shorter one damaged homes. An EF-1 near Wabash injured two people, and a weaker EF-0 touched down near Balbec. A second EF-1 stretched across LaGrange and Steuben counties, heading toward Angola. Damage reports also came from Lake George and other areas as the National Weather Service continues surveys, with more tornadoes possibly confirmed soon.
