We are back with the second episode of the second season here of Sixers Fix with Scott Ninnis, and it's a special Christmas edition of Sixers Fix with Scott Ninnis as we celebrate the festive season. Basketball writer Chris Pike and 36ers legend Scott Ninnis team up once again to bring you the official Adelaide 36ers podcast, and we begin with some discussion over the reaction to the NBL Cup which will see all nine clubs play 36 games in a Melbourne hub during the 2021 season, starting February 20. Given we are an Adelaide basketball show, we also get Scott's thoughts on the season of the Lightning in the WNBL which included Steph Talbot taking out both the MVP and Best Defensive Player awards. After dissecting last show how the 36ers were shaping up for the 2021 NBL season, this time around we get Scott's thoughts on how the Brisbane Bullets, Cairns Taipans, Hawks, Melbourne United, New Zealand Breakers, Perth Wildcats, South East Melbourne Phoenix and Sydney Kings are all shaping up. It's then time for our guest this week and it's none other than new Sixers head coach Conner Henry. We discuss everything with Conner from how the team is shaping up, what preparations for the season have been like, his coaching staff and also some breaking news on the captaincy and leadership group for 2021. We also talk with Conner about how he's settling into Adelaide and the challenge of being away from his family for the moment still along with why he's so happy to be back in Australia and coaching in the NBL, and so much more. We then wrap up the show with some talk about what a birthday-Christmas looks like for Scott Ninnis and wish our loyal listeners a very Merry Christmas.
