Skateboarder dies after rolling under cement truck in North Philly

A 22-year-old man was killed after Philadelphia police say he lost control of his skateboard and rolled under a cement truck. It happened just before 3 p.m. Wednesday along Broad and Parrish streets in the city's West Poplar neighborhood. Police say the skateboarder and the cement truck were both traveling south along Broad Street when the skateboarder lost his footing, struck a parked car, then rolled under the cement truck’s wheels. He was taken to the hospital, where he died. He has not been identified. The 59-year-old truck driver stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. (Photo credit: Getty Images)
