Skip Bishop! This guy is magical. Like a magical musical wizard. He has been the VP of Sony Promotions as well as VP of Arista Promotions- working in the music business for over 40 years. We talk about everything. How he got into radio as a kid with a cardboard box where he would entertain the whole neighborhood, pretending to be on air. He talks about artist he has worked with such as Carrie Underwood, Alan Jackson, Kellie Pickler to name a few. We cover how important radio is to an artist's career and all the ins and outs of the music biz. Skip is one of a kind. Once you meet him, you will NEVER forget. He's such an original in every way. He also was my boss when He hired me to work at his label Hit Shop Records in Promotions a few years ago.
