Jim and Mike interview Chicago based singer, songwriter, impressionist, actor and comedian SKIP GRIPARIS!  We talk about his musical influences, touring with Olivia Newton John, meeting Rodney Dangerfield, his role in the MAJOR LEAGUE movies and more!  Skip even does a couple songs for us.  It's a good one! *********** ABOUT SKIP: COMIC IMPRESSIONIST - An extraordinary comedic and musical stage show, featuring satirical impressions of dozens of stars – from Frank Sinatra, to Buddy Holly, to David Copperfield, to Robert Deniro, to Sylvester  Stallone, to Prince, to Dave Mathews, to James Taylor, to Kermit the Frog!  Skip has headlined many major comedy clubs, from Dangerfield’s in New York to the Ice House in Los Angeles.  In his home town of Chicago, he headlined the premier club, ZANIES, for four consecutive weeks, a run unmatched in the club’s history THE NEW COLONY SIX - After the Chicago-area native released his first album on Mercury Records as a member of Trilogy, Skip became the new lead singer and guitarist for MCA recording artists the New Colony Six.  Skip wrote and sang the group's final two singles, including Someone Sometime.    OLIVIA NEWTON JOHN - In 1975, Skip was recruited to sing and play in the Olivia Newton-John band at the height of her world stardom.  For four years, Skip toured with Olivia in a wide range of exciting venues, including the Bu-Do Kan in Tokyo, the Metropolitan Opera House in New York, and Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show.
