Skubal Trade Rumors & Jobe’s Rehab | Detroit Tigers News

Detroit Tigers brace for trade deadline action as Tarik Skubal’s future hangs in the balance—his contract expires after this season and a move seems inevitable. With Skubal potentially gone, the spotlight turns to Jackson Jobe, the young ace recovering from Tommy John surgery, who’s set to begin a cautious rehab assignment. Though only 12 games into his career with a solid ERA, Jobe’s ceiling is elite, and the Tigers are moving slowly to ensure a full recovery. Keep tabs on his progress as he returns to the mound, while the team gears up for a Tuesday night showdown against the Athletics.
