The Sleeping Negro tells the story of a young Black man confronted with a series of racially charged incidents, who must overcome rage, alienation, and hopelessness in order to find his own humanity. Skinner, who plays the main character in The Sleeping Negro, also shot this movie on Kodak film in  8 1/2  days. We dig in with Skinner, who we thank for getting vulnerable with us and talking about how truly racist America  is and how America keeps spitting out shitty humans.
