Director Ben Hethcoat shares the ten year journey it took to get this film made, how growing up as the son of a coroner helped him prepare for this film, and why Dr. Noguchi's career created a perfect storm in Hollywood that would never take place in today's digital age.40 Watts From Nowhere shares the story of Sue Carpenter, a young woman who hated commercial radio and decided to create her own pirate radio station out of her apartment in Silverlake, Los Angeles, in the 90s.
