At SLAMMER OF THE YEAR, standout story picks from our latest flagship and late-night seasons get up to get down on the theme CHUTES & LADDERS. Studio guides Jessica Holmes and Leta Harris Neustaedter each champion teams of five top-ranked story slammers to make points on the games people play. (It’s like truth or consequences IRL.) They’ll first take turns sliding into plot twists on the prompt CHUTES. Then one team moves to the last rung for an elimination round that plays up LADDERS. When the game’s over, only one storyteller scores the winning title of Slammer of the Year. Talk about an all-time high. You game?
