Fergus Sweetland is a Melbourne-born, London-based artist known for his wonky, wobbly, and rhythm-driven take on contemporary techno. Blending texture, atmosphere, and groove, his music crafts immersive narratives that tap into instinct and emotion. His DJ sets echo the same spirit—dynamic, playful, and always evolving. A core member of the Hayes Collective, Fergus has released on respected labels such as Illegal Alien, NRBK, Connection Verified, and his own imprint, Pressure Systems. The label reflects his belief that sound is pressure, and music is its system—a platform for total creative freedom and raw self-expression. This mix was recorded in July 2025 at The Glove That Fits as the closing set for Fossil Archive. The concept was to present an album in the context of a DJ set - something I’d been wanting to explore for a while. For this first attempt, I chose Spread by Heiko Laux. Heiko is like an older brother to me, so it felt special to honour his work in this way. You could say it was a Heiko Laux night.
