Mike Slater tells a story about the Spanish Flu, and where it got its name. After World War One, morale in America, and in the world, was down. So a law was passed that newspapers couldn't report on anything that might hurt people's morale. Spain was neutral during WW1, so they reported on the flu a lot, and people just assumed that the flu was Spanish, when it wasn't. "I just think it's a wild story, because the media at the time through censorship, but I'm sure a lot of it was their own desire, just didn't want to share certain bad news. And I feel like today, or at least in the last 8 years, there was a sort of self-censorship."
