Slayer Saint Part Two: Nancy
from Of Hell: Texas True Crime Hosted by Gone Cold - Texas True Crime
This episode revisits the quiet West Texas town of Kermit, where 27-year-old Nancy Siler Mitchell vanished from her home on a September night in 1970. What began as a baffling disappearance unfolded into a grim, years-long investigation marked by false leads, scattered evidence, and growing fears of a serial predator operating across the Permian Basin. As law enforcement struggled to connect the dots, one familiar name lingered in the background, a neighbor no one suspected at the time. This episode traces Nancy's disappearance, the discovery of her remains, the chilling pattern of violence emerging in West Texas, and the moment her case finally collided with the attempted abduction of a teenage girl in Fort Worth, exposing the true depth of Tommy Ray Kneeland's crimes.
