Greetings, greetings. Welcome to another episode of Truth The Power. I am your host, Tyrus and the Knight, and tonight I want to talk about Selenium Science. Now, for those who don't know, I come up with a theme every week to motivate me throughout the week.
And this week's theme is, Sreal Giants. Meaning, just lay our articles, to slay our competition, to slay our doubts, to slay our goals, and to defeat our goals, because at the end of the day, even when I once said it, because this is a black empowerment show, we as black people, we don't understand our power until we really put a lot of effort forth. But this topic or this inspiration came from this guy by the name of Isaac Wright Jr. And for those who don't know who that is, this guy, he had like, they gave him like life and prison for selling drugs.
That's some other faulty charges that they couldn't prove in court. Now, what ended up happening was this is really red up. He took the time, he learned the law, and he ended up becoming a lawyer in jail, for that mistake. And he ended up beating his case, he ended up getting released.
And he also, the judge, he came back and got hurt on indictment. Then he got the lawyer, he didn't lawyer the DA, they ended up putting a faulty case on him. At the end of coming suicide or something like that. I think they're saying they're doing a life story on him.
And I think of the very inspirational story, especially for black people, because one of our biggest giants is systematic white supremacy. We have yet to defeat systematic white supremacy. I don't think it's just because of a lack of resources. I think it's a lack of harm and integrity only because when you're looking at a giant, are you looking at something that seems insurmountable?
It's more easier to back down, you know, this easier to say, damn, I really don't want to fight. This is just a lead-down and like, OK, I try to commit this ability when I seem to be stronger. But it's never any perfect time to just face a giant. Either you're ready or you're not.
I mean, they got the story in the Bible about David slaying a life. You know, nobody expected for David to come with that rock and plus your life will probably tell him what he did and he's late on. And even let's take it to the basketball world. My favorite bosses, you know, recipes for a little bit of good.
He, um, it's late giants. That's what made him so great. That's what made him so great. That's what made him so great that they're able to slay giants, that they're able to hurt people that and beat people that they're not supposed to beat.
Even though he got the shot in at the stick or when he faced on what's that guy named? Big Mexican star or whatever. Who else? Chavez who the old Chavez senior.
He ended up being him being down and they said it was a draw, but everybody knew he won a fight. And that's what made him great. That's what made bosses great. I'm looking at boy, I may rather know he's a smaller fighter, but he's in a way bigger fighters and he's beating them, making it look easy, making them miss, make them look sloppy.
Let's look at Mike Tyson, another person, a lot of people don't know him. Mike Tyson was a small heavyweight. He was like 5'10", and I think he thought he took a team against guys that were like 6'4", 6'6", 6'2", and they were wearing like 250 pounds. Like Tyson got in the ring and slaughtered those guys.
And you know why? Because they were giants and they didn't see that they were vulnerable at the same time. All these saw that. They started thinking to themselves, damn, I can just beat this little guy up.
But it wasn't the case at all. And it made him real vulnerable. And this idea was when life sometimes, sometimes you just go out to slay giants. And when we talk about systematic white supremacy, in particular, we talk about slaying giants, slaying their giant.
We're going to have to come together economically. We're going to have to come together politically. We're going to have to come together when we're talking about business. And then we can slay the giant, no white supremacy.
Also, we need to be able to slay giants through the media. Because if somebody else is writing your story, they're most of the time they're not going to write the truth about it, especially if they got an agenda for you, especially if they got an agenda for you. When we're talking about slaying giants, white supremacy is the biggest giant that we have to slay. Now, another giant would be economics.
However, once we slay this giant that gives us a system of privacy, we could take care of everything else. We could get that out of here. You know, I'm pretty sure that you're planning people that are listening right now to have heads of face giants in the labs. You know, I've had a lot of giants that face in my life, especially when I talk about people about just fighting their school.
I had to fight some giants, man. And this is before social promotion. This is before social promotion. So just imagine I had 16 year olds in a class of me on 12, I'm 11 years old and they're trying to bully me and I'm fighting, being down, slaying them, you know, because I had the heart.
You may not look apart. You may not have. You may people may look like giants, but do they have the heart of a giant? People may look tough, but do they do they have the heart of a sub guy?
That's when everything comes to fruition. That's when you know you could be able to pull somebody apart. That's when you could tell when somebody's just real genuine part. They realize that they have the heart of a giant.
They want to tell you right now. Most people that appear to be giants are in giants. They don't have the heart. Once they face some obstacles and they're going to fall, they're going to lay down.
And I don't think that's why people as a whole. We may not at this point in time, we may not have looked apart of giants. But I know we got the heart of giants. There's no way that we could survive these 400 years of slavery, captivity, Jim Crow, just a matter of what supremacy being beat.
In the scorching sun, there's no way that we could survive all day if we didn't have hearts of giants. Now the people that they say does, let's look at them. Do they really have the heart of a giant? I think not.
I think not. They got the system no doubt. They got the numbers, no doubt. But do they have that heart like that?
I don't think many of them do. Now when I look at the eyes, when I look at the eyes, I see scared people and you have to be scared of people and all commit to an event system that gives you privilege and doesn't give a privilege to other people. You know, that gives you privilege and gives you a way to subjugate people, all mistreat people who have to be cowards. Because then why not put us on even playing field and see what transpires from now?
If you really had heart, I don't think these people got the heart that people give them. They just appear to be giants, but they don't have the heart of a giant. Now, you know, this process of just doing it back in memory. I've been learning about who the real giants in New Orleans are.
I've been learning who has heart who's just faking. And I ain't gonna put nobody name out there anything like that. But I've been learning who's been real and who's been faking apart. A lot of people just appear to be giants, but they're not.
They're not. You know, we're talking about adversity, overcoming adversity. That's part of being a human being. That's part of being a person.
There's gonna be some adversity. It's gonna be hard times. We all got giants in our lives. But we have to slay them.
We have to slay them. Well, and the question will be, what would you find? What would you find your inspiration from? This lady giant.
Like I told you before, you find that's hitting your heart. You find that in your heart. People are gonna doubt you. They're gonna have doubts.
I wanna speak. Everybody that you think is what you everybody want is not with you. Everybody that you think is a giant and they're gonna be on. They got the same heart as you.
They don't be afraid. You can listen to them when they talk. I'm here to tell you right now. People that's afraid and you're fearless or you have to wait without fear.
You don't need them around you. Being you're never gonna miss because you always don't have somebody dragging you along and it's extra weight on you. And to some people that may seem harsh. However, it is what it is.
You know, this week, man, I'm just saying a lot of giants. And when I say that I'm talking about obstacles, I'm talking about goals. I'm talking about being able to look myself in a mirror no matter what. How many setbacks I get and say, you still got this and you're gonna get your goals.
You're gonna, once you set that goal, you're gonna get it. You're gonna get it. You're gonna get what you're looking for. But you gotta be able to have heart.
You gotta be able to defeat anything that comes in your way. Anything. That's the mind of a warrior. That's the mind of a chicken.
You're not no time to do good heart. You know, you get sick. People around you get sick. Every number's dying.
You know, all the rest of this stuff. I know, I know their life is hard. Someone tell you right now that you have a capability to defeat all your problems. You know, whether it's your credit score, whether it's your finance, and the running relationship, whether it's people around you, not believe in you, power you.
Show them what you can do. But more important, show yourself what you can do. Be able to defeat those obstacles. Be able to look at those stuff in a mirror every day and say, I'm a warrior.
And that's laid tight. Usually, it's very powerful. You gotta handle your mentality. I'm gonna tell you, they might see us on people.
Because a lot of people out there, they're all free. But not you. Not you. Not me either.
But I know for sure. Once we come together, once we get all that stuff together, we're gonna slay the giant that's fighting, promising. That's in front of us. And we will be able to start corporations, businesses, have power, wealth, and influence.
Just to go. We're gonna have power, wealth, and influence. Something to leave behind by our kids. There's gonna be naysayers.
There's gonna be people that's doubting. But they don't matter. Because like I said before, if you got the heart of a giant, that's all that matters. Thank you guys for listening.
