Sleep, Parenting, and The Rule of Thirds

from The Snooze Button: Baby & Toddler Sleep, Simplified

Do you want to pull your hair out or google "is my toddler a sociopath" only 33% of the time? Do you LOVE AND ADORE parenting only 33% of the time? If so, congrats! You are exactly where the universe expects you to be.Today I'm sharing the a-ha moment I had when I discovered a concept called "The Rule Of Thirds." It's a perfect analogy for the experience of sleep guidance that I so often see with clients. But more so, it gives us permission, with parenting, jobs, marriages, and just day to day life, to not feel like we're falling short if things don't feel awesome almost all of the time. According to this theory, it's not even a realistic goal! So take a listen, go out into the world today, and permission to accept whichever of the three experiences comes your way.Loved this episode?
