Sleep’s back with a thunderous new single “Have Spacesuit Will Travel,” their first release since 2018, and they’re not just dropping music—they’re launching a summer/fall North American tour and releasing a mind-bending comic book. Guitarist Matt Pike has departed, but bassist Al Cisneros is forging ahead with a fresh lineup featuring Dale Crover (Melvins) and surprise guitar hero Bubba Dupree (Void), whose first jam with the band instantly felt like early Tony Iommi. The comic, illustrated by Dave Kloc and Arik Roper, follows The Marijuanaut to Planet Iommia and comes bundled with a flexidisc and signed bookplate.
