Sleeping in Perfect Peace Tonight

from Quiet In The Night · host Bill Scott

Sleeping in Perfect Peace Tonight As the day comes to a close, your heart may still be carrying burdens that your mind cannot seem to put down. Worries about tomorrow, unanswered prayers, and the weight of life's responsibilities can make rest feel far away. But tonight, God offers you something the world cannot give—His perfect peace. The Bible says, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." (Isaiah 26:3, KJV) Perfect peace doesn't come from having every answer. It comes from placing every concern into the hands of the One who already knows tomorrow. God is awake even while you sleep. He is watching over your family, guiding your future, and working in ways you cannot yet see. Before you close your eyes tonight, take a slow breath and whisper a simple prayer: "Lord, I trust You." Let those words settle deep into your heart. You do not have to carry every burden through the night. Jesus invites you to leave them with Him. May your thoughts grow quiet, your heart become still, and your soul find rest in the presence of your loving Heavenly Father. Sleep tonight knowing that God is faithful, and His peace is surrounding you.
