SleepTech Talk (The Sleep Podcast) Episode 25 - Guest William H. Noah, MD - CEO and Founder of the V-Com by SleepRes

from SleepTech Talk · host SleepTech Talk

It's inventors week on SleepTech Talk with Dr. William Noah!  Dr Noah has invented a revolutionary device to make CPAP more comfortable for patients and increase adherence. The V-Com, which softens peak inspiratory flow, makes starting CPAP easier and faster. V-Com is an accessory added between the CPAP mask and the CPAP hose that is specifically engineered to reduce inspiratory pressure and flow to provide comfort with minimal to no reduction in expiratory pressure (EPAP). Since V-Com has minimal effect on EPAP, there is minimal effect on therapy. After weeks or months when the patient can easily tolerate the peak flow and inspiratory pressure of PAP therapy, the V-Com can be removed from the circuit. Join us as we learn more about this new tool that can help our patients tolerate PAP therapy and improve overall adherence!   To learn more or to request a free sample of the V-Com - https://sleepres.com/v-com/ Intro music Pierce G.
