My name is Alvaro and today we'll be having with us a very special guest. His name is Katalyn Busatou and he is the CEO and founder of Excellence VIP Services. In this conversation we're going to be talking about how Katalyn went from a professional tennis player all the way to becoming a top leader in the Luxury lifestyle management and Luxury Concierge worldwide.

Katalyn, my friend! Hello, good to see you, I'm way in, I'm way in! Thanks for joining us, it's very a pleasure to have you. I was making a quick introduction about yourself.

I mean, good friend, you definitely kill it in the game of Luxury Lifestyle Management. And if you can give us a little bit of your background, your story and how did you end up making such incredible transition to top Luxury experience? Everything started with my tennis career, so I used to be a professional tennis player in the past and everything brings me to this Luxury lifestyle at the end. So everything started as a hobby, I used to play tennis, I was travelling a lot all over the world playing tennis with a lot of people in a lot of countries and of course the time that I was travelling I always wanted to get to know a little bit more about each city and each country, the culture, the places where I used to stay, the hotels, the gastronomic restaurants and all the nice places.

So I was thinking actually everything has gave me a lot of experience and when I finished my tennis career, this business was just a hobby that I wanted to try to see a little bit if I can start the business instead of tennis. At the same time, I finished my professional tennis career but I was coaching so I was for a few years like a professional tennis coach as well and at the same time I was building this business. So a step by step it has improved and I didn't imagine that the things will go that well. So few years after I just decided to stop all my tennis things that I was doing as a professional tennis coach as well.

So I just had to give a try to this business. Thank you and definitely you have not done that at all. I mean I gotta tell you, you have a very successful career, you've been in the business 10 years already with excellent VIP services. And I gotta say that I'm very impressed with the type of experiences that you offer and I really like your background because like myself, we both were tennis players, I was not as good as you but I was able to find my best friends.

You know, I was able to find my way to get to the States with a scholarship. And it's very interesting to see how other people like really first to really move forward with their tennis career also can become very successful entrepreneurs like yourself. So with that being said, I mean, you are now organizing and arranging such top notch experiences that a lot of people will not even even dream about it. So with all this around you, with all the different companies that you're connecting, I have always one question that I like to ask.

What is luxury to you? When we talk about luxury, we talk about quality of the products and the services. So it's about uniqueness and the values and also the education that you have in this luxury lifestyle world. And it's about small numbers of clients which are very demanding.

And of course, we are always offering like luxury services and very high quality instead of quality. So for us, quantity is not important. So what we give in the luxury is uniqueness and quality services. So this is our main goal for our business.

So it's about motivation and passion and create unique experiences that it's something that the people cannot imagine and it's something that they cannot find it by using the Internet. Tell me, tell me, Kathleen, tell me one experience like, you know, for those listening to us, what kind of experiences do you arrange? Of course, I mean, I arrange a different type because everything it's personalized and it's tailor made for each client. And of course, I mean, something really, really different.

It was sending some clients to space in a bubble thing that it was just an experience for six hours that it was for a proposal for marriage. So this was something that I think of course it did. But I think this one was my really special one. But of course, we are, I'm doing a lot of nice experiences like in desert, polar experiences.

Like holidays as well. Also mountains, beach. So it's a little bit about every client depends what and what they want to do. And I'm specialized in getting exactly and the best destinations to make the clients happy.

And of course, I mean, each I think each experience, what they do, it's very unique. So if I, for example, want to meet a celebrity or go to a special event, you know, in a uniqueness way, you can arrange that. Of course, of course, we also, I mean, I'm organizing also meet and greet with celebrities and also sports players that also some of them, they are still professional professional players and also some of them are retired. But of course, I can arrange meet and greet meetings with with all these type of celebrities.

So what's your demand? Who is your actual target market services that we are providing worldwide and the clients can be also anywhere from anywhere in the world. Of course, there are more clients which actually also since the moment I started. So basically, the main clients are from from Russia, then also from the Gulf countries and the Middle East and also from the United States of America.

So let's say that we are focusing and we are working a lot with these countries. But of course, we have clients from other countries as well, which also they're really happy to work with us year by year. So, of course, I mean, we are not just providing the services for a certain person or a certain client. So actually we're open to work with everyone and all over the world.

So anybody looking for a great experience in Miami, you will bring them for sure, right? Of course, Miami is my second home. So with pleasure, I do all my best to make everything possible in Miami and wherever it needs to be. So my question will be, those people are seeking for an experience.

It also falls into where they stay, right? Do you work a lot with property owners, with companies like ours where they can stay at high properties? A little bit of both. Either we provide luxury villas where the people, well, our customers, they will have a very nice day.

So we also were working with some direct owners. And of course, in some cases, we are working also with companies. And then also, if it's a long term, usually it's more about something about companies because it's a little bit different, the way of the contracts and everything that the management of the service. And in the other case, we also have the investment products, which also we are working on real estate.

Just once the client is looking for a nice place to buy. So in this case, of course, we are also helping our customers. And it's the same thing that we are working also with companies and also with owners of the products. Awesome.

Very good. And right now, I will suppose that that experience that your clients are looking to horse having, it also falls into the home experience. A lot of people stay in their homes these days, but they still want to experience something unique. So it's bringing all your connections and services towards their home, correct?

Yes, in this period, this pandemic period, actually, I was focused a lot on giving the best places where our customers wanted to go for holidays, but to have the maximum privacy. So of course, they could feel like home, having all the facilities or the activities that they wanted to do, and also to be a part of other people. And let's say for the mass of the people, because they wanted to have something really luxury and totally private. So of course, we focused on the really luxury accommodations with a lot of privacy.

And at the same time, also right now, because of this pandemic situation, we are also working a lot on the investment opportunities, because many people are also looking either for the second home or something that they want to have very nice views, for example, in beta and staying in a nice villa, having the beautiful views of the sea. So we are also helping our customers right now with the investment opportunities as well. Thanks for sharing these things. And I will suppose that in order to promote these kinds of services and unique experiences, you're utilizing a lot of the digital space, you're utilizing social media, or how important has been, especially during this pandemic, all these tools.

Main promotion, let's say, and everything is just meeting the customers personally. And also actually it's by recommendation, because this type of luxury services is not for everyone. So because we are talking about uniqueness and about the really high quality of the services and luxury, that's why we are talking about the small numbers. So I think in this case, all our customers are coming more from the recommendations and also I make a presentation face to face.

So, everything that you've been doing these years, what are some takeaways that you can share with us? Well, I think I mean the professionality is seen when of course when a customer is pleased with the services and what you do. And also then they will recommend you further. But of course, I mean, I think that from the experience and from everything what I've seen during these years in this world.

So I think of course the most important thing is the confidentiality that you give to the customer. This way, I think of course success will come for sure and you must always have motivation in what you do and to put a lot of fashion. So I think there is no way after to go wrong. I do appreciate you sharing all these knowledge and the stories and experiences, definitely looking forward to meeting soon in Miami.
