Happy Friday and welcome back to another episode. You meet up. I hope everybody had a fantastic week so far And today we're gonna be touching a little bit more of the luxury space in art And for that we have our special guest Daniel Mazzani He's actually one of the most iconic artists you might I'm here As much as I'm doing stuff in the digital space I saw from figure out how to use my phone Well happy Friday, I thank you for today. Yeah, you as well and thank you for everyone there for joining as well.

I see a little bit of your art behind you Yeah, I'm actually just in this video working on some stuff today with some stuff there and a lot of blank stuff ready to The rock that means is time to get the inspiration going and start working on it. Yeah, I'm excited I just finished my art as well show as you know and now I'm preparing for I'm gonna do a show in London during freeze in October After that obviously I'll come and do my any again and then you know obviously just working on my NFT projects and my furniture I love that a whole line that you're putting together. Well, listen Daniel. Thank you for being here today I'm very excited about it because what you're doing is something that is very interesting You know you're actually coming from a traditional space of art Revolutionizing it by doing it your way coloring the world because it's a very colorful art and your transitioning into the NFT space Something that has become throughout the last couple years very trendy more people are getting into the space I'm being here in Miami I mean correct me for wrong, but this is a capital of crypto and what all these opportunities are emerging So I think they're in the right place and I wanted to know how it's been for you transitioning from what you do into the NFT space Well, you know first of all did you know as an artist I think we want to grow our crafts and Learn learn different things different techniques I first you know a lot of people have been asking me over the last year and a half two years with NFTs to You know make NFTs of past artworks.

I made and I thought I didn't really want to just do that because you know I'm not want to just you know try and get a paycheck You know I want to do things correctly and if I do something ask to mean something so I thought You know, how could I put my artwork and and what's the correlation with that and digital and crypto and so as you know I have the yumi character and yumi means dream and I get I created that character about five years ago Which has been popular in my physical artwork that character is the child that represents the child that becomes the person They're supposed to be even if it means you know wearing bunny rabbit pajamas every day So you know with that message the correlation I think with crypto and digital is you know ten years ago 15 years ago when when crypto had started and the inventors of crypto and The inventors of NFTs everyone told these people that they were crazy and and I think people are still saying that now But obviously they've changed the world in the change the world I think for a better place and you know This just goes to show you if you believe in something and you follow it can come true So that's why I'll create you know NFTs of my unique character because I feel like the correlation makes sense And absolutely a good part of you know It's a great collection and for those that are tuning in please make sure to check what Daniel is doing because he's unbelievable I'm a big fan of it And I always encourage and support those that are trying to disrupt any space and in your case You're doing it through art which is touching the emotions of people now here at Superloxer group We work specifically with super high-end properties and we start seeing the correlation as well on how important it is to bring These pieces of art into the properties not just to raise the value But to also start giving a little bit more of character and to transmit just more than just a nice house You know something that can touch the emotions. So tell me a little bit about how do you see both worlds being combined? You know, I never I don't believe that digital will ever replace physical artwork and Keep in mind the houses you sell are fairly large. I don't think anybody will ever replace Physical artwork because you're not gonna have screens all over your house mind you I think a touch of both aspects is really lovely You know, I think it's just a new dimension of artwork and I think the two going hand in hand are really great I mean physical is great because I think human beings one of the five senses is touch and smell and feel and being able to touch and see something physically is Something that connects with you emotionally, but that's also not to say with digital that visually with colors and feel you can't feel Some of these senses as well.

So having the two in your house is really really the way things will go And it's great the compliment 100% and I love what you just that's in there about the five senses And that's a true something we forget about it We get all excited about the NFTs, but then if you go back to just the basics as a human being you have five different senses And the touching the smelling the feeling like that's something that you cannot acquire to an if these as of now, you know They're coming up with different techniques, right? You know, we'll see what happens in the future now Let me ask you this Daniel because obviously the NFTs is one of the elements that has also opened up a lot of opportunities Within the metaverse, right? Something that has become even more popular these last few months because of Facebook transition in the name to Meta now everybody like what meta was meta and then opening up to the world of the metaverse which in my opinion if we look into the NFT space specifically the art, how has that impact your NFT collections into the metaverse? Well, it's actually quite interesting, you know, at first I just I didn't understand why people would pay so much for NFTs But then if you really dive deep into it, it's not so much just the artwork you're buying you're buying into a community And what does that community offer?

So what that's saying is what's the utility of your NFT? What does it create? So with mine for instance? I'll create, you know, the idea behind the Yumi's a dreamer a believer So it's to create a community with like-minded thinkers and bring these people together So when you buy that Yumi NFT will have, you know, meetings and parties and places where you can meet and chat with other like-minded thinkers to change the world And being decentralized, I think at a time where you see a lot in governments where, you know, things are silenced with news and people are being told What the same what they can do?

And I think that he says decentralized worlds if you have these dreamers coming together You can really change the world without any disruption as well. 100% Now what you're taking them because as a super luxury group we specialize also a lot within the NFTs and the metaverse world for real estate And we have some clients that are looking now towards creating the NFTs of the properties creating their virtual homes that are kind of like, you know, mimicking the real tangible asset And within those virtual houses, you know, a lot of people are starting to place their NFTs So instead of just having it on open sea, you're actually starting to put it in what we can consider a more tangible, still virtual property So how's your thoughts on that? I think it's actually quite nice, you know, because it'll give people a chance to go visit these metaverses and whatever other worlds are created That maybe you get invited to someone's house and essentially it's just a gallery where you can go in and people around the world can see, you know, the different art that you have in your house or they can see the house that you build or the house you bought and it was from So I think it's another great way of sharing what you have and also a great way for advertising depending on business you're in And look, it's very interesting to have you here today because I believe that art was one of the, I guess, most pioneer and most visual industries that took this approach to the NFT space And more industries are starting to adapt and see how they can get involved into this space, right? Like real estate now is starting to get a bit more evituated to it, but it could still be applied to many other things, right?

From yachts, from private jazz, like you name it experiences overall And within the luxury space, there is a lot of money that will really open up those doors. Now my question to you, and I think for the audience will be also very interesting to hear what you have to say How do you, you know, let's do for example, Jimmy, you have your collection, like how can people acquire these NFTs? Well, the, I think what we're doing now is we're building the community and you have to really build your community with Twitter and your personal life just because I have collectors and a big audience in my physical world. I think the digital world is also a different group of people.

And so once that community is built, then we feel comfortable, then we'll have a drop date. As of now, we're just building the community getting to know people where I'm a speaker at NFT LA, so I'll be there. Oh, nice. Yeah, and I have a booth there as well.

I'm also been asked to be a speaker at NFT Miami. Listen, that would be fantastic. I'll be actually speaking there as well. Really?

Oh, yeah. Very cool. Okay, so, you know, these are the types of things and then, you know, follow the UMI NFT on Twitter and it'll have updates, new, we're constantly working on designs. We have a lot of designs.

We're just slowly releasing them, get people excited and slowly build the community and then eventually it'll be a drop within this year. So for those that are artists that this can apply tremendously, but also for those that are in different industries, how do you get about building an NFT of whatever product you have? Well, I mean, you have to find someone who knows how to do digital work on the computer. There are different programs that someone needs to know.

I mean, the best way to do it is going on different discords and finding people within this industry that way, joining different communities, seeing what they're doing, talk to different people. It takes a lot of time going around and finding the right team and building the right people. It's a very delicate industry as in the audience likes specific things. And if you do things the wrong way, you quickly disappear.

So it's about getting into that community, finding out the rules of these communities and really just working with that virtual world. And just for those that are listening, this course is a social platform where people can interact with in different communities, different groups, specific topics. And as you said right there, it's very important to find your niche and start working towards that because that will help you launch any type of product. Exactly.

Super. Now, we always ask this question to all of our guests. And again, it comes in so many different shapes of forums. But what is luxury to you?

You know, luxury is to me waking up and getting to do artwork every day. Oh, yeah, I love that. It is because I tell you something, you know, I'm making money is right and it's nice. But the money allows me to do something that I love every day.

And, you know, for life is short. And I think if you're doing something that doesn't make you happy, then you should change that. And I don't think it necessarily means that everybody should have the job of their dreams because maybe it's not realistic. The reason I start doing artwork is because I realize that.

But I realize that many people wait for that one or two vacations they take every year to look for something forward. You know, but I think you should really look forward to doing something every day, even if it's afterward. Why something you look to do every day? That's amazing.

That's luxury. I know a lot of people get to do that. So yes, I agree with you 100%. Listen, and then once you start doing that, the money comes and then and more opportunities will come to you.

I think if you focus too much on how am I going to make money, it doesn't come. So true. Good. Love and then the money follows.

Indeed. I'll mentor that. Daniel, I mean, you've been doing this for how many years? 12 years.

12 years. Wow. So in these 12 years of a career, what is something that has triggered or that has helped you, you know, achieve this level of success? Work in seven days a week.

And, you know, I think the fact that I never get comfortable in a position I'm in always pushes me to how do I become better? How do I grow my artwork? How does it become more technical? What can I do not to feel comfortable?

Because I think if as soon as you get comfortable, you get lazy and you really you never grow. And that's what really will push you to getting further and continuing. See any idea, but constantly never end in improvement. I love that.

You have to push yourself every day. Well, thank you so much, Daniel. I mean, I know you have all your canvases behind you ready to be painted and get your inspiration flowing. So with that being said, I don't know if there's anything else that you would like to add.

No, I just want to thank you for having me and I love what you guys do. I think it's brilliant and I would love to do some projects together and see how we can grow as well together. Absolutely. I mean, the opportunities are countless and obviously with great people like yourself.

There's always good synergy for that. So thanks again, Daniel, for everybody watching or listening to this. Make sure to follow Daniel. He does amazing and inspirational work that I'm sure you will enjoy watching and seeing every day.

So with that being said, have a nice rest of your day. Have a great weekend, everybody. And until the next one. Ciao Ciao.

And thanks again for everybody tuning in today. We hope you enjoyed it. And remember, embrace it's beautiful success in life. My name is Alvaro and I'll see you next time.
