Ladies and gentlemen welcome back to another S.H.G. Vida We're host Alvar here to bring you another exciting guest and today's gonna be all about technology media and different ways of really disrupting this upcoming trends So for that we're gonna have prevent ready. He is currently based into by his software and tech engineering 1130 Saturday well for you, it's a bit late But I'm sure that you know you guys engineers love to code at night and do all the different things I think is that most of my staff finished work at about 4.5 p.m. But I'm always up to like 2 in the morning or so I mean, I think when there's nobody around here you want to sleep that's the best time to be productive No one's nice to jingling you.
Yeah, completely completely agree with that now I do appreciate you joining us today because you're probably one of the first Software and tech entrepreneurs that we've wrote in tow our podcast series and the reason I find it so interested is because right now With the technology and the way that is so quickly advancing we can disrupt any industry, right? So you are now focusing on this NFT marketplace You're working on different projects that are really accelerating the way that transactions are taking place So I wanted to know a little bit more about yourself. What really is it that you're focusing on you're obviously device a very exciting place to be a lot of I believe a behind me. Yeah It's not in the mind moment, you know, I've chosen to be as I think there's it's easy for me to traverse across the globe and get Stuff done, you know, I'm never left of the world right now.
Every way, you know, the furthest point is out of your own That's a little bit of a long age, Jenny But I mean if I want to do business in Europe or business in Africa is just a single flight. You know, there's not connecting flights, etc She's obviously a good thing for me. Um, yeah, you know I'm getting to buy trying to take things to the next level. You know, we really tech for the past 17 years But we want to some pretty exciting things right now I think like when COVID struck, it made me realize there's so much opportunity out there And if we don't change what we're doing somebody in the garage right now is going to disrupt everything, you know In industry that we are with because you no longer need to be a part of a big corporation to disrupt industry You know, we just need to have the vibe in the mindset and the innovation that we can happen So we just say hey, let's just focus the things that are gonna be disruptive technologies things that cater for the masses And what's what problems need solutions for for what probably will need solutions in the you know, the upcoming years?
And that's how we got into quite a few different techniques every person right now So give me some example of some of these scenarios of you saw this neat and you went ahead and tried to disrupt it by bringing value with your services and technology You see I grew up obviously in South Africa and Africa is a populist region of the friends in our Asian India and Over the years I've noticed something that I mean you in Miami right now, you know Most folks in first world countries and access to you know to get involved in the stock market getting involved in the stock Technologies very early in Africa. You're gonna populist continent, you know over a billion people you get India as an as a country We're a 1.4 billion people China with a 1.7 billion people But these more than 99% of the population doesn't have access but easy on ramp to purchase into you know Digital assets with its crypto where it was put to an hour to be easier and with NFTs People don't always have you know 200,000 or 500,000 throw at a big NFT project in both apes, etc How do we create a better on-ramp with the masses if open sea and magic Eden we're targeting, you know A selected market the market can only grow for so long with such before it reaches a point that Can't grow any longer. I mean it's only extra amount of wealthy folk that are gonna get involved in this NFTs And then they're gonna have a pretty problem and the market will crash So we started to build fractional technology that allows hundreds and billions of folk to get involved in as little as you know $5 or $10 into NFTs without the huge outlets that they currently face it That's yeah, that's really important and I think that you are unlocking the opportunity to really open it to the masses to really do something That's previously was not able to be done and this is through which of the ventures that you're working on Okay, so what we've done is a few years ago I set up a company in the Middle East called Engage Beyond and engaged we go and invest into various different tech startups and projects that we feel We feel are gonna be valuable very soon. Oh, solve a problem pretty soon So this particular NFT platform is under the name of pixel PRQ S.
Oh, and It's a multi-chain fractional NFT platform when you started up just a lot of but now we've gone into BSC polygon Ethereum Events, etc. So it's multi chains the world first multi chain by the way, and you know, we've actually got a provisional pattern on the way We are fractionalized NFTs. I'm talking to you. It's gonna be a very exciting time going ahead Nobody has really conquered a massive market from a blockchain point of view and we'd like to be the first to do that Well, very good.
Now How do you envision all these things moving forward because obviously right now we're facing a situation where everything planned so is it a Moment to really put more effort into it to what was your thought on what's going on right now? Right now There's nothing that stays constantly ascending everything's gonna grow up in that run now in terms of NFTs Why we got into NFTs was not just for digital arts only We foresee very soon more and more countries are gonna allow fractionalized ownership of properties When it's kind of big part into the real estate as an example You've obviously built a tremendous social media platform where you have lots of followers a lot of engagement a lot of people Looking into what you're doing. So how for somebody that is trying to get any new projects Especially in this saturated market now to get the voice out there and to make it successful And there's two things that you can do actually a check the PR company about this yesterday And we said in a lot of people is easy way you can get a whole lot of you know You have been in the scale of all paid them a bunch of money that them go online type your project up and sell it But for us personally, you know, we will take small steps to a long-term vision of where we want to get so we don't we don't need to go out There and spend a whole lot of money getting influences come on board because nine out of ten times these influences Don't know what they were you talking about and they just jump on a project But they can pay to do it and you can pass advice and not be in the best of the audience What so what we try to do is educate people to proper content now If you want to build something that's gonna last you can either build something to make money and jump off that train Or you can build money that's going to be you know Generational wealth and that's what we trying to do it everything that we do we don't try and say hey Let's just hyping something gonna get off it So we're taking a slow calculated approach where we're going to build up smaller positive communities globally and each of the These will start to educate people around them and we're gonna be with pixel as an example We're setting up training camps in different parts of Africa and Asia and so forth training boot camps Should I say from there actually have a knowledge to empower communities about that? You know, I think when you build credibility in your community things grow organically I like to ask you something because this is something that we ask all hard guests I'm very curious to know what it is to you.
What's the meaning of luxury for me luxury means? I think for two different people luxury means different things for me luxury luxury luxury is implicit comfort You know people have different levels of comfort somebody can sit in our wouldn't share and that's luxury for them for me You know, I just want everything I've never had before when I was growing up So my level of luxury is a little higher. I really like your answer. It was very deep now my last question for you We've only will be about Without you know talking about all the luxury of the why because the why is amazing.
You know, I love going there Which I'll be going there soon once is also hard for the country But what is it the number one thing that you found fascinated about leaving the by I think it's the morality of the The country as opposed to just laws I think it's the vision of the rule of the country that it just oozes positivity and hope and prosperity Not because it's an induction because they live in do it. Yeah, but thank you for for those insights I think that's very important to to keep in mind and for those that look at to buy from the outside to have a different perspective And I agree with you. So thank you for that. I don't know if there's anything else that you would like to share before we wrap this up I don't know you can go up.
I can take a question from the audience if you want to ask something or you want to ask me something Well, I mean, I will go a bit more personal So you seem to be a very exciting guy traveling around the world living all this luxury accomplishing, you know big successes Obviously nothing come from that you came from driving a corolla and building yourself up But what really fascinated me about you is that outside of that image that you put on social media You're a very humble hard-working guy and a lot of people that reach that level of success so quickly They end up being like completely off, you know, and they disconnect from the world So why is it that you've done to stay grounded? You know, I think is that I've seen smoking scroll, you know, I grew up from not having much And having a look at I have taken away from you my dad passed away in our 11th was 1993 I lived through being in high school and I was so excited to get this cast on the you know, Casper Oh, that's what you have very cast on and I was in 1996 and I was on my school football ground And I was going I'm so proud that it was used on this cuspiticia and my friends sent you to lost their schools in South Africa We actually were schooling for us with discipline And you know every last day of school each time we eat semester we allow to assembly and go And I have a cuspiticia and my friends sent me what are you wearing? Nice prints and it's like bro. You guys are embarrassing.
How can you come? We're gonna go out there? I don't know And she's no I don't even know what it's like 1996 I swear to God I don't even know about you by his jeans I was 14 years old and even know about you by his jeans was um And it made me realize at that point in time, you know that I You're gonna be treated differently You don't have these in social societies. It's not right as much as I did and because I've lived it I got it.
I've never forgotten what it's like not to have those things You know I was told my friends aim to buy and if you follow me Instagram at the post stuff They be so often and every single person that knows me most is here. I'm the guy, you know, I can eat At a five star restaurant, you know, a mission or star restaurant for lunch and a dinner at the inside of the street on the pavement Getting a KFC. I don't care, you know, I'm the person You know, I don't need to be in a five star place every day. I like the best of both worlds It's not that I'm trying to also I'm such a humble person.
I actually enjoyed it. I like regular stuff You know, I mean, I made that celibia one of the nice restaurants and I say you may see me, you know All people are responding like they're up for like, you know, a two dollar meal or whatever the case is So for me, it's the simple things that keep reminds me of where I've come from It makes me happy to know every time I do that it reminds me that hey, listen I've come from there and don't forget as much as I've got all of these things I can go back there That's very good when you don't manage your assets properly and your funds properly can go back there my ties and Dennis Rodman You know, all of them examples of people a long and example of people who made a lot of money super successful But I've lost it by nothing smart enough. So you know, no matter how much you've got life humbles you You know when you have an ego about yourself So you need to keep on going and improving along the way well that was a very nice conversation great insights a lot of valuable key points Great inspiration towards the end as well. So I do appreciate your time and everything that you've shared with us today I'll definitely make sure to add a couple of things in there for people to really know more about what you're doing and Please for those that are watching now or listening later make sure to follow prevent he's a man He has a lot of valuable information and thanks to offer.
So give him a follow and aside from that I really appreciate our conversation. I look forward to seeing you soon in Dubai. Thank you very much brother. We appreciate it Thank you so much.
