It's a pleasure I'm good to have to to have invited us and we look forward to share everything that we can share with you No absolutely I'm I was saying you're the CCO his and yachts and I was super excited about this conversation because not too long ago We had the for laterally international boat show and we had some of the most extraordinary yachts in there And when I think in terms of yachts your company comes into mind and I'm very thrilled about How it is that over these four decades the company has expanded to become one of the world's leading companies when it comes to the Design construction and engineering of all aluminium yachts. So tell us a little bit about how the brand started and gone all the way here Because it's just fantastic. Yeah, well, it's it's a it's an interesting question You ask I mean you don't start a shipyard just like that and become one of the best in the world No, this is something that you always and he's obviously started with smaller boats But then their quality and their way of looking at the prother their position in the market basically Lift them up to the place where we are now the top quality We have the series production we do and the fact that we are northern European ship You are brings in pedigree to the to the to the product and that is what clients want So that's what clients amazes. That's what I give a comfort to buy with with a Nissan And I like that because when looking at your entire business model I mean you have the three types right of how you can get one of those yachts You can completely get it through the series which is already kind of pre-established You can do this semi-custom or completely customize it which is kind of like a you know dream big and you guys will make it happen Exactly what you could say that that's within the say the top quality super your building.

We are one-stop shop company I mean we you can do you can buy with us one of our series yachts which are five types Go from 50 meter steel and aluminium to 50 meter aluminium 55 meter steel and 57 meter aluminium Those are series boats which we always have on the construction which have relatively short delivery time and have all based and proven concepts So you have basically the best of both worlds of all worlds actually Now if a client would say I'd like to have the benefit of a proven help and win on the on the CD engineering time I'm gonna take a hilt which is already built and designed for and I will make my own super structure on it And we call that our smart custom, but we also have portfolio for clients That want to start all over again and have basically ideas and within the state of limitations of what the yard can build We can build their dreams completely from scratch. No, that's fantastic. Let me ask you about what's behind the DNA of the brand quality quality quality reliability reliability reliability and of course on the technical side I think that he's in stands for let's say the combination of super your building and fast going If you look at the aluminium yachts that we build one of our one of our recently finished products an 80 meter full aluminium yachts During 31 knots, there's no yard in the world that does that and he's really stands for that particular niche aside the fact that we build It's a very reputable steel aluminium yachts as well. So talking about that specific means How did it meant at the moment when it comes to this particular yachts?

Well, unfortunately there will always be challenges, but I can tell you that the demand is still very strong And I don't know if that goes for all the yards but for he's in for sure And I think it's certainly also to the fact that we build these yachts in series And we can therefore let's say get to the demands of our clients quite quickly Usually the people that are in the need of a super yard They don't want to wait too long and for that perfect the perfect solution So I would say yes the impact of the of the war in in in Ukraine certainly has created some sort of Terrible on what's going to happen but on the other hand, we see why we still let's say coming in quite quite in high numbers And we still we stand very strong absolutely. So what specific demographics will you say is your audience? Well Luckily, I can say All geographic areas. I mean when we design a series boat We want to make it a friend and anybody's friend It should not be specifically designed for South America or for a bridge or for a version from it for a person from Asia And if you look at what whatever he's in his bill all the series boats have been adapted and And appreciated by people from the Far East people from Europe people from South America people from North America and deep from the Middle East So we basically are right best for when building yachts in terms of exterior design, but also in terms of internal layout For basically any client.

How did you or the team grow the brand like how what's the best way to promote and grow your brand? Well, first of all within his and we attach a great deal of value to team efforts So that's not one person that that is a winner. No, we do it all together. That's a nice thing about shipbuilding That's also is the reason why we really can say that quality work within his but within this within this industry our let's say the broker community is a very strong place a very strong role in the in the sales process of these yachts and he sent from history back as place a great deal of effort in Feeding the broker community with the information in a very simple understandable way to the to to work So they can easily repeat it.

They can easily sell we make it as easy as possible for them And beside that with the sales team we travel quite frequently and of course you were referring to it earlier for low-level We have various both shows in in in the Middle East in the United States and for some on a koyocho, which we which is a very very important Say outlets for for for his and we don't miss one and what I'd like to add to that is that you know The building of the yacht the selling of the yacht one thing but for the clients It should also be a nice experience to try to buy this this yacht and and and the whole journey from the say the first contact till the yachts Is being delivered and certainly also the process thereafter is extremely important to us So we we place a great deal of effort in making this whole journey like a dream come true What's the turnaround from the moment I decide to buy a yacht until I get it delivered if let's say it's one of those serious Yeah, it's already kind of pre-casted what is it? Yeah, it depends on the moment you step into a project as an example our First delivery today will be in spring 2024, but if you step in Somewhat next to in the process you'll get it earlier and our serious production have really really proven to be to be very successful and Clients don't have to make a lot of choices on where things have to go What is the the engine type and so on and so forth? We have made that choices those choices and we give them the explanation? What is the background?

We use the best interior designers the world has to offer and exterior designers and it's successful People like it people love it and also very important to mention is that we are not like a car brand that has An a model B model C model demo the know all our you say all the series boats that we have are very unique are very special So when you're laying in the base somewhere in south of France even if you would have a series boats from here So you'll always have a unique boat on the outside and also on the inside obviously everything doesn't go as planned Especially now facing a little bit of a difficult situation with the war with Russia and Ukraine with potential recession approaching and all this uncertainties facing the market what would you say is the Priority for his and yet to be anticipating and preparing for this. I Think we should keep our course and not turn on on the say the Most important parameters and materials success criteria of this company. So we maintain course with regard to a serious production We very much welcome the same smart custom very much. We also welcome the full custom So we go full pool on that and we also remain flexible to what client wants It's for me.

There's not a lot of change and like I said all our designs are appreciated by let's say all the continents in the world So the fact that that said Russian clientele is is hopefully temporarily Say not as dominant as it was we still have a good position towards the other the rest of the market Wow, no, I love it I think that's and a lot of people they get too afraid and they contract and then they start like you know playing small But about continuing going the direction that you're heading is what's you know you break through now I want to ask you and this is completely separate, you know from what we just talked about the world luxury right like Everybody has a different definition of a luxury but you've been in the art industry. I live in the light that you live in Why it's really luxury to you. I think it's a combination of Unique choice super high quality and Really living the experience that you that you have in your head and a yard for that is the perfect opportunity to do that And it's only limited for a very few people in the world and I mean and then I mean the interior is of the bulb But then I mean it's a bit difficult to show that to you Maybe should come with your with your program to see us here But it's really the highest level of what what the world has to offer in terms of use of materials in finishing all that So the whole mix makes this this is Top of the pyramid with regard to to luxury experience Exactly I wanted to run this app because I know you guys are busy have a lot of things going on But obviously there is a lot of things that happen happen with hazing yards over all these years and for you working in there What's the biggest takeaway or lesson that you've gotten from working so many years in the industry? Never compromise on quality keep your promises.

Don't say a and do be And always realize that from a commercial point of view your best customer is your returning customer So always keep in mind and that's a maybe a syndrome within boating that once you buy both of 50 meter immediately Decline to look at the bottom 55 or 60 Always take that into consideration that the sale of the boat is and the process is is is is potentially the seed or the future sale of the Next one so that's my takeaway and never lose never Sail away from your main principles like keeping your promises and don't compromise on quality that always I love that So true so true and so many people derail for the dream sometime because of whatever coins, you know, I really love the season Not exactly not that I mean that's why your successful. That's why the company has rights about keeping the vision clear and keep working on it Well, look I really admire all the work that you've been doing and the results speak by themselves with all the awards and everything that you're getting And I just can't wait to see the progress and evolution of the company.
