Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to another S&G Meetup, your host, Alvaro. Today I'm super excited because we have a very remarkable guest. His name is David Meltzer. I'm sure you've heard of him.
You probably see him on stages, read some of his blogs, or know what he's done in Business side, which is fantastic. He actually was named top 10 Forbes speakers, and I love his mantra. Make a lot of money, have a lot of people, and have fun. Good morning.
Thanks for having me. What a great introduction. I really so much appreciate your technical time, Dabneh. No, of course, the pleasure is mine.
I look even though you're trying to help just one billion people to reach happiness. You've made my day already, just by being here today. I'm sure that those that are watching or listening, but it's now or later, they're going to appreciate what you have to say. Thank you.
What we got on the agenda today? Well, I want you to talk about really what's going on because you are a variety of different amazing things combined. You're an author, you're a speaker, you're an entrepreneur, so you've done basically everything, and in a very good way. So on this mission of empowering people, teaching them how to make money, teaching them how to help people, teaching them to be happy, have fun, is that create content in a variety of ways by being a keynote speaker, by actually being a coach.
I do free Friday trainings for over 23 years. I do group office hours. I go live every day. I have TV shows.
I have movies. I have two minute drill on Apple TV. I have office hours on Apple TV. I've done elevator pitch on entrepreneur and world's greatest motivators.
I do so many different things. I have a podcast that's top in the world that brings in all the billionaires, millionaires, entrepreneurs, celebrities, athletes, and entertainers to teach their secrets of success. So everything that I do from sponsorship to finance investment to TV shows, movies, podcasts, coaching, mentorship, teaching, it's all to help people with lessons by telling stories or the mind or sharing other people's stories in order to effectuate acceleration of what people want. And so I teach meaning, I teach values, and I teach execution.
I teach people to give the right meaning to the past. I give them daily practices for the present, and I give them an execution model for the future. And those three things combine utilizing time as a dependent variable of everything I do as it able me to empower people like you to empower other people like you to be happy. Wow.
And that's how we change the world in a positive way. Now, I guess the summary of what you just said is that we are blessed and grateful to have you here today because not everybody gets to enjoy this. Thank you so much. I'm for sure we'll put that information out there. But let's get it real quick into the essence of why you're doing what you're doing. Like, what was that trigger point in your life that you said?
Well, from being introvert, for me, it was lessons that I learned about going in the wrong route. You see, I thought money bought everything. I thought money bought me love and happiness. And I ended up losing in 2008, over $100 million in going bankrupt.
And through a journey led by my wife to teach me values that I live by, to teach me practices each day to behave the way that we need to behave, to create the habits through a habit machine, and to change the trajectory through faith of my life. Over the last 16 years, I've been able to rebuild and re-prioritize everything in my life. And so, for me, it's omnipresent and omnipotent for me to help change the way people look at things, like I change the way that I look at things where money doesn't buy love or happiness, but it allows you to shop. And what I truly do is I keep people to shop for the right things, for the things that they want.
Not what other people want, not what's missing, not what they don't have, not buying things they don't need to impress people they don't like, but buying things that create abundance in the world, that create appreciation, acknowledgement, and allow them to ask for more, receive more so they can get more. Wow, so profound. And you know, like we have two different types of individuals here, right? Those that are trying to make it, and they might find themselves facing all these obstacles or difficulties.
And it's that time of the year, okay, evaluating what they are, what's important. But since we're talking a lot about luxury, I've seen so many people in the luxury space that have accomplished on paper so much success, yet they're empty inside. But their ego is already so high because they, according to society, they have made so much that they are not vulnerable enough to open up. So what will be your life for losing the people?
Take stock in who you are, who you are is your essence, it's your authenticity, it's what resonates with other people, and that inspires them. And the way that we find our essence is instead of looking what you have, look and take inventory and who you are, your skills, your knowledge, and your desire that has allowed you to live a super luxurious life and be a part of this frequency, of this vibration, of this neighborhood. And instead of looking outwards, look inwards and know that you give meaning to everything that you see, that you can't have outside of you, what you don't have inside of you. And if you take inventory of those skills, those knowledge and the desires, and you align them with the trajectory of what you think you want to make more of it, to help more people and have more fun, I guarantee your life will change for the better.
You will establish faith that instead of trying to get more healthy, more wealthy, more worthy, you will realize I am, I am that I am happy, I am healthy, I am wealthy, I am worthy, and you'll start figuring out what you're doing to interfere with it. If you think you're living a super luxurious life now, if you think you want a super luxurious life for yourself, when you realize you already have it, you're just interfering with it in a varying degree, the abundance will seep in, you will realize that you are connected to it through an omniscient, all-powerful, all-knowing source, an abundant source of infinite wealth, of infinite everything, and you're just interfering with it. That's what I teach people to do, that's what I taught myself, through 16 years of daily enjoyment, enjoyment of the consistent everyday, persistent without quit, pursuit of my potential. Right, because David that we see here today is not the David that was 16 years ago, it's not that overnight success, right, so I do want to say that what you made the point so true, this Karsity mindset versus the Abundance mindset, Abundance mindset is what really brings everything all together, so thank you for sharing that by the way.
Now, one thing I wanted to say, and again this is a bit more personal, but I just launched my book, I gotta say, I always look into those that have made it, and you know, I feel inspired, right, I feel like, okay, it's good to have those role models, those coaches, those mentors, those people out there, even if you don't work one-on-one, at least they kind of show you the path, and I know I've been seeing you and following you for a while, and I was seeing how you were launching this book, speaking on stages, and I'm like, oh my god, that's so good because when you help others, you help yourself at the same time, so I wanted to thank you for, you know, showing the way, and that's why I wanted to speak with you today, because I do believe that a lot of people out there that, even though they're going through the difficulties, once they start finding their path forward, you know, talking to people like yourself, or at least getting to know what you're teaching and preaching, well thank you, you're part of my community, right, you're part of the effort of people that are helping one another, and no people that can help one another, and I want more people to think about that today, how easy it is to build a community and take inventory of who we are, to elevate our frequency, our vibration, your frequency is your neighborhood, remember the higher the frequency you have, the more awareness you are, more awareness to options, opportunities, and touches of favor that live in this abundant world of more than enough, and too many people don't realize, and they're surrounding themselves, like I did the first time around when I lost over $100 million, I surrounded myself with the wrong people and the wrong ideas, I was surrounding myself with people and ideas and activities that led me, not fed me, I was living in a neighborhood that was devoid of options, opportunities and touches of favor, there's only leeches and cockroaches sucking my blood from me, and instead now I live in a powerful neighborhood, one from frequency that is elevated, elevated by people who tried to elevate others, remember the fastest way to get to where you want to be, the fastest way is to find someone that's already there and ask them for directions, and the best way to add statistical success to that acceleration is to find people that you can help get to where they want to be as well, and when you combine those types of people into your community, and elevated vibration and frequency, your frequency becomes your neighborhood, your awareness, your enlightenment, your vibration allows you to be more aware of three things, more options, more opportunities and more touches of favor, and that allows you to be happy. Oh my god, I'm feeling such a fire inside, this is so good, and that's why I want people to go into your website and your social media, because especially on Instagram, you have those shorts in there that people can just have a quick snap, get rich charts, align themselves for the day, and that's so important because there's so much information out there that is like activity, well, you know, you are the opposite, your content is about education, motivation, which is very good. I wanted to ask you something, and this is a question I ask everybody that we interview, which is the word luxury, right? So many different meanings, prosperity is much more than wealth, prosperity is passion, purpose, and profitability all combined, and when you live a luxurious life, you have passion, purpose, and profitability in your life, you make a lot of money, help a lot of people and have a lot of fun, and that's my objective to help people live in luxury, to live with passion, purpose, and profitability at all times.
Wow, repeat that much, because when I first saw it, I'm like, man, this is very good, because I want to have passion, purpose, and profitability, align with what you want, you live a luxurious life, but so you're empowered to make a lot of money, help a lot of people, and have a lot of fun. I love that, I love that David.
