Good morning everybody, how's everything going? Now, have you ever feel a little bit lost on how to get yourself to the next level? Are yourselves a little bit low? Today we're gonna have Lee Brown, she's a keynote speaker, multivariate coach of Sales Pross.

She's also the CEO and Realtor for one community real estate in Concord and Chagrav in North Carolina. And she's gonna be talking about the key ingredients on how to take yourself to the next level and increase your streamline on sales. Hey, what's going on Lee? Hello, let me fix my trap out here because it's kind of pointing down.

How are you? There you go. I see you perfectly now. How are you?

And I'm off this kitchen. By the way, we will have to talk about that as well, Lee, because I know you are a professional chef. I see you cooking and giving amazing recipes. I know, and now I get paid to cook since Dixie Crystal has chosen me as their spokesman.

I'm fine. Wow, there we go. Look at that. That's incredible.

By the way, congratulations on that. That's a big deal. And it's very impressive to see how you can turn your passions into something that you get paid to do. So it's incredible.

But you know, that's what real estate is all about. And it's one thing that a lot of Realtors forget is that if you let people see what you enjoy or drone to you, and then you get to do business with them. In fact, one of my agents, I see he's in the feed. Charlie is now working with a buyer who was attracted to my brand new recipe and then decided she wanted to buy a real estate for us.

And that's because it's a connectivity thing. And we forget that connection is what matters. So true. That's so true.

Well, Lee, I'm very excited to have you here today. And I know our audience is also very pleased to have you because not only you sell some of the most incredible homes in North Carolina, but you are also a keynote speaker, a motivator and a coach of sales professionals. So I know that a lot of people nowadays are struggling on how to take their sales up because there's competition, because of the economic changes that we're facing. So tell us a little bit how you got into such incredible path and how you're helping so many people get to the next level.

Well, the first thing I would say is that you don't know where your path is going to take you. I did not expect to be a speaker. I did not expect to be anything in a motivational space because I'm a realtor. And in my real estate life, I've been doing this business for 21 years full time.

When I came into the business, I just wanted to make money. That was my only goal. And I worked really hard to become the number one agent in Charlotte. And then as you get more and more successful, people ask you, what do you do?

What do you do? How do you do it? They want to share the secrets and share the success. And for a lot of realtors, they don't share.

They're afraid to be abundant because they think that they're going to lose their business. And I was afraid of microphones. I was afraid to speak and afraid to teach because I didn't think I could. It was all here, all limiting beliefs.

But one of my mentors who has since passed away his name was Alan Haynes and he was an instructor in the Certified Residential Specialist Network. Alan told me, he said, you're doing something good. You need to share it. And I didn't want to.

I can't do it. I can't do it. And he finally got me on to a stage. I was on a panel of other professionals.

I was very much out of my element because I perceived them as being bigger than me. Again, only my headspace. And then once I had the chance to share what I was doing to make my business successful, it felt really good to share. And so that's where my speaking business started was in just sharing what I was doing in my day to day business.

How did I get people to sell with me? How did I get people to buy with me? What was I doing? And then that grew until I started figuring out the message that realtors needed was less about the mechanics of real estate and more about how do I keep myself up in a business that doesn't have discipline in a business.

It doesn't have a lot of direction and where it is highly competitive and it changes every day. And then consumer behavior changes every day. Well, I started dialing into that and the speaking side of my business has just evolved over the last 12 years. And my real estate business has evolved too.

My relationships are deeper with my clients than they were before. And my agents stay with me longer because I've learned how to give more than I ever gave before. And I will say this to anybody watching who happens to be a realtor, the first thing you have to do every day is remember that there is a market. And when the market is in a strange place, which it is right now, there's not enough inventory anywhere in the country.

And there's new realtors every single day. Oh my god, you definitely touch on all points right now because, you know, thank God to Alan by the way, that got you to go to the stage and then start your motivational career on top of your real estate career because definitely you're impacting a lot of people's lives. And I know that what you're saying right now is so true. I mean, I see so many people here in Miami.

I'm not going to tell you in your neighborhood, but here we're seeing such a huge demand. How important has been for you to really take advantage of these platforms? Well, I got involved in social media very early because I'm an introvert, which nobody believes, but video is fantastic if you are an introvert because you can really connect without having to get drained. And I got on Facebook back in 2007.

I got on Instagram and it started. I've been on LinkedIn that long too because I was involved in a real estate network called Active Rain, which started in 2005. And we were the early birds, the front edge and discovered that as producing realtors and introverts in different markets, we could connect with each other. And so when you connect with each other, you start to see the power of social media.

And it was a wonderful space until about 2016 and that presidential cycle got so negative and people start checking in all caps with exclamation points and started dialing out. But I just keep dialing in because the thing I love about social media is that it's a way for me to educate and tiny birds. I can be entertaining and tiny birds and I can lift somebody else up. So I'm a social media.

You have to remember that one of the keys of successful people is consistency. They consistently post content, but it's not just posting crap. It's about posting content that could be impactful for somebody else. I started this cooking show and in my kitchen.

I love it, by the way. I had to start that because I'm like, well, I'm stuck at home. It's always everybody else and my favorite restaurants are closed and I can't eat out every day or I'll be as big as a side of a barn. So I love to cook.

Let me just show people what I made. Thank you for sharing all that. Now, in a different note, Lee, I wanted to ask you, I know you work with some of the most incredible homes in Concordland and also in some other really nice homes, obviously, it's a different market, but you've seen what the luxury really is about. And I always like to ask this question.

What is it really for you? The idea of luxury is different. In the market, you're in wherever it is. There's thousands of realtors.

There's also thousands of real estate licensees. When your phone rings, they could have called anybody. They could call anybody. They chose you out of all the people out there.

And even if you're in a competitive situation, you have the opportunity to be interviewed. Anything else would love to have the chance you had, whether it's expensive property, a regular property or something that's high end, the person who owns it called you. And this is where as realtors, we should say, oh my gosh, what an honor. They called me about their real estate needs.

They chose me as the professional. And so you go into every opportunity with every buyer and every seller, you should be thinking about it as the honor that it is, whether it's an $18 million property or $180,000 property, it's valuable to them and they chose you. You won't your business to move forward, whether it's luxury or anything else. When your phone does ring and you're feeling that honor moment, take a look at it.

Stop calling that a lead. That's not a lead. That's a neighbor. Now, Lee, let me ask you this, because you're such a positive person and you're always giving great advice and tips to those that are not just in real estate, but in the entrepreneurship careers.

So what are some of your current routines or tips that you do on a daily basis that help you keep afloat? The number one thing is that every night before I go to bed, I make a list of what I did not finish and a list of what I need to get done the following day. So I prepare for today, yesterday and today I'll prepare for tomorrow. I know a lot of people that wake up in the morning and they try to get their thoughts together, even an hour later, they've gotten really muddy and distracted and they maybe don't get the big things done.

I go ahead and acknowledge it. I didn't finish my day today and I'm just a phone call and I call that person first and say, what, I've already done that today. I said, I did not get to you yesterday. I'm very calligetic.

She said, that's fine. Call me afternoon. Great. The acknowledgement is half the battle to get yourself over the hump.

I'll be getting our own way and we say, well, I didn't do it. So I still have to do it. And then there's no call anybody. And that's a self to be this attitude.

So I defeat my challenges the day before. That's the first thing that I do. The second thing is I do exercise every day, whether it's running or it's riding the stationary bike or it's doing yoga or lifting weights. I have to do more weight lifting because of being middle age.

That helps your bone density and it helps your posture over time and my posture is terrible. So I got to make it better. That's a choice. Everything is a choice.

So you can choose really hard things. If you're choosing to be overweight, you can also choose to work out the both hard choices. You can choose to be married and you can choose to be divorced. They're both hard choices.

You can choose to make phone calls and you can choose to not have the income. You want their both hard choices. And so you, everything you do is a choice. So for me, I choose a successful tomorrow today.

I choose to take care of the body that I have because it's all I have and I'm going to choose to take care of that first. And I also choose to take care of my soul. So I do my devotion right after I work out every day. I get into the scripture and I get into the word because without the word, I'm nothing.

And that reminds me that there's somebody bigger and I don't have to be in charge of the world, which is a really good thing. But other things happen the way they're going to happen as long as I choose the best choice for me. So the night before I make a less, the morning of, get up and work out, do my devotion. I drink a whole pot of coffee and then I switch to hot tea.

I'll go and I shouldn't put in ginger tea because that's why I cough one of it. But then I can get a lot of stuff done. That's how I get things done. I'm asked is how do you get this much done?

I mean, I had the same 24 hours in a day that everybody else does. It's all about compartmentalizing and it's all about making choices and every choice is an easy choice. But what I'll tell you is with social media, I turn it off at a certain time, I turn it off, turn it on. Clubhouse was a problem for me right at the beginning because I love Clubhouse since the first month.

It absorbed way too much of my time and I had to step back and say, I've got to get this under control. And so now I schedule my snippets so that I can enjoy and learn in the platform, but I also can control my time. Nobody does that except for you. Nobody does that except for me.

You have to make choices. And when you screw up, by the way, acknowledge that choice too. We're all going to screw up. It's one thing I hate about society right now.

This idea of cancel culture says that you have to be perfect all the time. I really believe people grow over time and they get smarter and they get stronger and they evolve. So as you're making choices, friends, please choose to show a little bit of grace to somebody that you disagree with and a little bit of grace to somebody that you don't like because that's how we all get to do things together. And Paula ran this came from belt.com.

Honey, that is my address of the South. So as I cram and add, I have all the colors by the way. You want some of these. I've worn this well in every color.

That's amazing. I love it. Lee, what a phenomenal speech. What a great insight on how to take yourself to the next level.

I really appreciate your time. Is there anything else that we haven't covered or that you would like to share? Well, I think we forgot to tell people that if they need a real estate professional in the Miami area, then you should make sure you're following and asking questions because that's why the super long group exists. It's because you can make great decisions and you can make great decisions and you can help with anything around your business.

I will tell you what I know, whether it's right or it's wrong. I'm always glad to share. So make sure you're following this channel right here for more information. And then if you'd like to be featured, I'm pretty sure if you reached out and had something great to share, you could probably be featured.

But as we say in the women's council of realtors, the task is the ask. If you think that you need to be showcased, you need to ask. And if you have a listening that you want the world to know about, then ask. And if you want to receive more business, ask.

And what happens if somebody tells you no, then you ask somebody else. Life's not as hard as we make it. But I'm grateful to you for having me on your show. And I'm grateful for what you're doing in the market to help create better personality opinions and inspiration around real estate because not everything has to be about houses.

So I'm very grateful for what you're doing out there. Thank you so much, Lee. I do appreciate everything you said. And I look forward to seeing you whether it's in Charlotte or here in Miami.

And it'll be in Miami because Florida's open in North Carolina is not. And you know my friend Jorge Garro, right? Yeah. So working the Nora is some of my favorite humans.

And in this, I go to Scarcia. So I love my NAS. So I'll be coming down to visit very soon. But I'll speak in Spanish.

I can just pronounce it. There we go. No worries. I'll be the one doing this with me.

Looking forward to seeing you soon. And again, thank you so much. Absolutely. Bye.

And thanks again for everybody tuning in today. We hope you enjoyed it. And remember, embrace it beautiful, success in life. My name is Alvaro and I'll see you next time.
