Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to another SLG meetup. How is everybody doing? Now today we're going to be flying all the way to Madrid, where we're going to have with us the one and only Anna Antich. She's the freelancer, celebrity stylist, fashion design consultant, fashion advisor and personal shopper, as well as the lifestyle creator and CEO of the new brand Akura.
Anna! Hello! I thought you... How are you?
Very well, you. Thank you for having me. I thought you were diving or discovering the islands and playing tennis. I was discovering how to get the best internet so that we can hear your magnificent story.
Thank you for being here with us today. Thank you very much for having me. Thank you. I think life and this luxury lifestyle that you support is all about connections and all about knowing people, matching things, making things happen.
And this is one more example of how we met and how you thought of bringing me in and giving my support to other people who are starting in the business or people who are just curious or people who just want to come to Madrid. We can offer them a super nice day and an amazing life style. You are the number one when it comes to connecting the right people. You are currently Madrid and you are obviously a person that you do is about luxury.
From being a fashion designer and consultant, freelancer stylist, for celebrities. I now also have this company Akura. Tell us a little bit about who is Anna Antich. I have lived all my life around the world.
My dad was a football player and soccer player and after the soccer coach. I married a basketball player. I have been living all around the world. At the beginning, fashion was my hobby because I could not work because of my traveling.
I lived in Italy, France, Tel Aviv, Serbia, Turkey and actually all around the world. In many cities also in Spain. When I was stable and I made Madrid my home, I started to work in different magazines. I had a lot of collaborations with big magazines but also with Hello magazine, doing houses, doing celebrities.
I have done marketing campaigns with celebrities, bread carpet events and always helping people achieve their goals and making them look better and making their businesses work. It is very nice to be able to help people in growing and also on that way. I helped myself. I think it is very important to choose and have the right timing for the right thing.
I had a blog. I worked in styling. Then three years ago I had an opportunity to become a manager, VIP client manager in Christian Dior in Spain. That was also something that retail was something new for me.
I thought it was a moment and I could give my part of my knowledge and contacts into this Dior and new adventure in Spain. I think that was something that was very nice because it was a total difference. I lacked communication and the other part of the fashion business. I did not stop styling because it was part of my job and it also helped me endure to know people, to come up with new opportunities to promote the brand.
But in a way I was doing a bit of work. Then in December I just decided to open as you were saying, a new company with two partners. It is called Dakura. Dakura is a lifestyle company, a consumer service, a business of everything.
It is a bit of what I am and what I have. I think it is a moment now where fashion is taking and luxury life and lifestyle people have become much more conscious. People have different tastes. I think people have bigger knowledge and consciousness.
That is where lifestyle and luxury fashion is going towards. I like the combination between fashion and lifestyle currently is so connected. I love that concept of combining the fashion with the lifestyle because at the end of the day it is all one piece together. I love that you actually took that path of fashion towards now starting your next venture which is a cool lifestyle.
Really nice. What we created here in the store was an added value to shopping. It was not only buying in a diamond. It was creating an experience with locals and people who had to educate them in a way and bring them back in and have a relationship with them.
That is what I think people have realized. They were at their homes. They realized that it is okay. Maybe superficial shopping and just shopping online.
They need something else. Why would we shop if we don't have to? Why don't we recreate a garment that we have from before? Why don't we use conscious shopping but also with an added value?
I want to have an experience. I want to know what I am buying and if it really is needed. It was always there but it is something that now I think it is elevated to 1000 square. I think it is so important.
You made my friend Maya. I think the influencers are very important in the fashion business and they have become very important through the last year especially because they are immediate. They are quick and also because they show a lifestyle, a dream lifestyle that many people want to have. I go to a restaurant and I open the Instagram and check the plates.
I go to the plate with the pictures. I think it is something. I just saw where you were in the Maldives and I put it on my list because you showed me where to go, how to go. When I work with the travel companies I want to know the exact room where to send clients because if it is a quiet room and people do not go and they serve the dinner without going past other rooms or maybe they have a better view or maybe all these tips, lifestyle tips or shopping tips or tips of any type.
I always say that style is related and fashion is related to business. It is all about the connections. People inspire you. Maya came from here and I am going there and look at this and how she styles things and so many people follow her.
It is really admirable how people get to know people through Instagram, social media and how they become friends with them. For me I do not have to explain to you what I do because you know you can see through my pictures. I agree with what my sense of style is when I was teaching students in university the first thing is how do I become you? How do I have this education?
How do I do it? I said you have to be proactive. When they invite you you have to go to places, you never know who will give you the opportunity. You know you have to be open.
You have to have the skills, have the knowledge, have the context but also it is sometimes just luck and you have to chase it. You have to go and get it and be there at the right moment. The most important thing is knowing exactly what the client is. I cannot offer a client a hundred thing.
I have to know and make a bespoke offer to that person because I know what he wants. That is what people are looking for now. I always ask one question because it is true what you said about focusing on the lifestyle of your client. This is what we do at Super Luxury Group.
We focus on what is exactly the lifestyle that people that acquire these homes or have those homes have all in common. You know, which is the fine dining, the traveling, the fashion. There are a lot of elements that really relate. So in this case, when we talk about Luxury, I want to know what is it for you?
For me, Luxury is anything that makes you really excited. Everything that makes you really happy. Everything that works for you. Luxury doesn't have to be expensive.
It is true you have to work on yourself. It is all about a mindset. It is all about a healthy mindset in order to achieve a luxury healthy life. That is for me being healthy, being conscious, working in what you like and surrounded with good people.
For me, that is a real luxury. Wow, that is an incredible answer. I think that everybody that is studying today is very inspirational because I have seen a lot of love towards you. I mean, you are an inspiration for many.
I really appreciate your time. I know you are also quite busy with all the projects that you have going on. So if I can ask you one last thing, what is really the one thing that keeps you excited every morning? My family, my two daughters, my mom and my family.
But also my work is my energy. Really, as I was thinking to you, my work as I work in what I love is something that is not even work. But being able to every day have a motivation in my work to be and achieve and work towards the best in achieving the best version of one. I think that is something that you have to be proud with.
You have to go in that way. And everything the universe will just help you. Wonderful, wonderful, Lana. Now, any last takeaways or anything that you would like to share?
No, I just wanted to thank you so much. It is amazing what you do. You inspire so many people. It is nice to help people in a way because at the end their home is something very important.
Some people spend a lifetime in their home. Some people change. Finding and making people happy and finding their dream home. It is also something that you must be, I want to congratulate you on that because that is something that is helping other people achieve their dream.
It is also something that makes people very happy. I just wanted to congratulate you on that. I do it in a different way. Finding a home for someone is a huge thing and responsibility.

We have to add something now. I think it has been a COVID-free place, a cure place. I think in Russian and in life, we have to go towards where the universe is taking us. Definitely towards safe and good places.
Actually, next week I will be in Dubai. We have the fourth and Middle East. I see some of our friends, our audience currently checking into this life. They say the collaborations are key.
What you said is true. I mean finding somebody at the right home, it is an important step towards somebody's lives. But you can never do that efficiently without the right collaborations because it is all about the lifestyle we discussed. I do appreciate your time.
