Slight Setback
from Rinkside with Aarif Deen Hosted by Mile High Sports
The Avalanche are coming off consecutive losses for the first time since November. Aarif and J.J. start the show with Jared Bednar's comments about preparing for the playoffs and how the Calgary game was a step in that direction. They also break down parts of the match including Pavel Francouz's relief performance, Cale Makar's end-to-end play, Nathan MacKinnon's goal-scoring and the Kurtis MacDermid fight. The guys then chat about the line consisting of Valeri Nichushkin, Nazem Kadri and Gabriel Landeskog and how Bednar could rely on that combination in the final stretch and the playoffs. All that and more on this edition of Hockey Mountain High: Your go-to Avalanche Podcast. Produced by Patrick Stedman. Follow the guys on Twitter @JJoftheyear and @runwriteAarif
