The Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council is calling for as many Private Group water schemes to be registered for inspection as soon as possible. The calls from Cllr. Donal Gilroy come the Environmental Protection Agency says there's an urgent need for mandatory registration of private drinking water supplies. A number of local private group schemes have been identified as having E coli failures including those at Keelouges, Castlegrange, Gurteen Clonmore, and Carrownadargney  Reacting to the findings in this latest publication the Fianna Fail Councillor, Donal Gilroy says no chances can be taken with conditions such as E.Coli in water schemes. He says it's vital that all schemes are registered
